Q

Federal-state change-R3

A

Industrial revolution

  • New industries were created therefore laws had to be created to regulate them.
  • A lot of people were dying as a result of industrial accidents, there had to be nationwide regulation surrounding this.
  • Growth in population meant there was increasing demand for industrial goods. The federal government needed to regulate factories/farming to ensure that people were not being overworked to cope with demand.-
  • This was the emergence of actual business and growth in wealth to part of the population.
