What is constructing theories?

A

If a hypothesis is repeatedly tested and results are consistently in support, then a theory is constructed explaining behaviour; science assumes there are rules and laws that can explain causes of behaviour

A

A prediction is made about what is believed to be true and then an investigation is carried out to see if it is correct

A

A

Being able to repeat an investigation using same procedures to see if finding are similar to original. If they are, it increases confidence in initial conclusions drawn
