Logical progression fro general to specific ending on the most relevant and the aims.

detailed enough to allow REPLICATION.
includes: Design, sample/participants, materials, procedure, ethics

SUMMARISE key findings.
May include:
-descriptive stats
- inferential stats
- raw data
-qualitative results
what can be found in the discussion?
results summarised in VERBAL form, discussed IN context of research. Discuss LIMITATIONS and how these could be MODIFIED, also consider wider IMPLICATIONS.

full DETAILS of any source MATERIALS.
how do you write the reference for a journal article?
author surname, initials, date, title of article, journal title, edition, page numbers
how do you write a reference for a book?
Author, surnames and initials, date, title of the book, place of publication, publisher
