Method through Example - 0.27777 = x, 2.77 = 10x, subtract 10x from x = 9x = 2.50, multiply by 10 both 9x and 2.50 to get 25/90 and then simply to 5/18 by dividing both numbers by 5.
Hint : use simple interest to get approximation
