-He had a desire to create a performance around the dancer James O’Hara
-as part of the 100th anniversary of the Ballet Russe he was also invited by the Sadlers Wells theatre to draw inspiration from any of the pieces of the repertoire, and he chose L’après midi d’un faune, Nijinsky.

Shows the interaction of the faun and the nymph, the faun being half animal half man. Their relationship is innocent yet filled with the sexual tension of the original choreography of Nijinsky, with playfulness they are like children yet also archaic like old souls
