• (Castleton) Pollytunnels, provide protection from heavy rain and frost.
• Table top fruit stands, stops fruit being eaten by insects + easier to pick.
• Diversification, fruit can be sold in farm shops.
• Jams, fruit that is not nice enough to sell on display can be made into jams increasing profits.
• Cow milking machine, less workers have to be employed/ more efficient.

• Pesticides, reduce crop wastage by getting rid of pests.
• Ferstilizers, replenish soil nutrients allowing farmers to have multiple harvests.
• Biofuel, cheaper than food (free energy)
• Technology, more efficient harvest.
• HYV crops, produce more grain per stalk.
• GM crops, seeds are drought resistant so farmer gets 2-3 harvests per year.
