Clearing plants by slashing and burning them and then planting the seeds in the ashes.
The area is used for a few years while it is fertile then it is returned to the forest
Terraced Farming
Terraces were created so that there could be flat land on mountains to be able to use to farm. It originated in Mesoamerica.
They were created by building rock or wood walls and back filling them with soil
