Refers to brothers and sister together with their respective partners and their kids living in a single house

Refers to LGBTQ+ couple whose living together and formed a family
FAMILY BY CHOICE
Refers to type of family formed from the union of divorced or widowed persons to their partner where one or both may already have a children .

This is the stage where patners decided to have a child either by natural biologic means or by legal adoption method.
BEARING OF A CHILD
Stage where the partners are committed to helping and sustaining the needs of the child
RAISING OF A CHILD
Stage where the child has grown enough to do things on his own and becomes independent
LAUNCHING OF THE CHILD
Stage where the child ,being old enough to live on his own has left the home leaving an empty nest
EMPTY NEST
The family provide emotional, psychological, social, spiritual, and physical needs of each member to grow and mature as a person, a family and a citizen.
FUNCTIONS OF THE FAMILY
Refers to a specialization in nursing care whose focus is the family as single unit of clientele.
FAMILY HEALTH NURSING
Characteristics of the family as Client.
- Have unique needs in each member and as a whole unit.
- Has their own culture ,practices and values.
- Grows and move as a single unit.
- Adress the needs of each members for the benfit of the whole unit.
- Family is connected to other members of the community or neighborhood.
Refers to the holistic bio-psycho- soci- spiritual wellness and optimum level of functioning of the individual member, the family as a single unit and the family as a member of the community.
