-Laws undermined marriage, tax allowances for breadwinners (mothers can’t be transferred)
-Welfare policy, overgenerous, perverse incentive creates dependency culture
-Council houses, child benefits
-Solution: cut welfare spending, room for tax cuts to promote incentive for paid work
