A
The break in Soviet Power because Germans angry, poor, and hungry like the soviets. 1989.

A
The economy shrunk, population shrunk, education, medicine, industry, and agriculture fell. USSR had to import food for their people. Polish strikes weakened trade, and created individual trade unions.

A
Mikhail Gorbachev made a deal with the US 1985-89, Nuclear Force Treaty reduced nuclear arms.

A
Rebellions and US (Reagan) pressure lead to the fall and end of Cold War. Glasnot and Derestroika opened the USSR as reform.
