Q

Foundational Scripture Mathew 6:25-34

A

25”Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 28And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Q

This type of Faith says that “Its already Done “ What type of faith is that and What scripture/s or example does it correlate to?

A

• Perfect Faith: (James 2:20-22) James is saying that faith without subsequent action is useless faith. Even Peter, with little faith walked on water. James is telling us that faith is made perfect by how we respond to it (works). Perfect faith is when the believer concludes that not only, “God can”, “God will”, but “God has”. And because He has, our actions reflect the confidence that the promise has already come to pass. This faith says, “It’s already done!” Examples: Abraham (Romans 4:19-21), Noah, (Hebrews 11:7)

Q

The fruit of faith

A

Galatians 5:22-24)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Faith ought to manifest itself in our lives as a result of spending time with the Holy Spirit (2Corinthians 13:14).
The fruit of the Holy Spirit ought to produce the very nature and personality of Christ.

Q

The Gift of Faith

A
  1. The Gift of Faith – (1Corinthians 12 :7-11) Is a special impartation of faith upon the believer for the common good of others. Since faith is necessary for manifestation, and our unbelief hinders the working of God in our lives, God then, will give us a gift of faith to believe beyond our current level of faith.

  1. Baptism by Fire
A

– As a believer you will be put in the line of fire of the enemy. The word says that all who live godly will suffer persecution. In Mark 10:38-39, Jesus was talking about baptism by fire, not water baptism. (2Timothy 3:12; Acts14:22; John 15:20; 16:33; 1Peter 5:10)

21
Q
  1. Baptism in the Cloud –

The children of Israel came out of Egypt led by a cloud be day and a pillar of fire by night. Baptism in the cloud stresses the importance of the believer to stay current with the move of God.

Q
  1. Baptism into the Leader
A

This goes hand in hand with the baptism into the cloud. How will you know the move of God if there is no leader? Israel had Moses, we have our sent men and women of God, our pastors. It is imperative that we have a spiritual leader and not act as mavericks who cannot submit to any spiritual authority. (1Corinthians 10:1.2)

23
Q

What does Laying on of hand represent and what is necessary in order for it to take place.

A

The laying on of hands represents the transfer of power, authority, and strength of God when done according to His will.
• Identification: The offeror and the receiver become one – there is a spiritual connection between the two. Once there is a spiritual connection, only then can there be impartation.
• Impartation: A bestowing, conferring, and transfer of a blessing occurs. The offeror is depositing into the receiver’s life what God has deposited into their hand.

24
Q

What are the different practices of laying on of hands?

A
  1. Healing – (Mark 16:17-18)

  4. Hallucination Theory – Jesus’ resurrection was just wishful thinking of the disciples

  1. First Resurrection – The resurrection of the godly dead will occur after the rapture of the church and those who suffered through the tribulation without worshipping the beast will be resurrected and reign with Christ 1000 years. As believers, it is important to understand that even though we are not being judged for heaven or hell, we must maintain a healthy fear of the Lord in order to stay in His will and receive eternal life and its rewards (Proverbs 1:7). We should strive to hear “Well done, my good and faithful servant…” (Matthew 25:21; 2Corinthians 5:9)
