Describe what happens to enzyme activity while increasing temp-
As the temperature increasing, so will rate due to an increase in kinetic energy, which means more successful collisions between particles.
Increasing temperature beyond the optimum temperature, reduces the rate due to breaking of bonds which hole the enzymes tertiary structure together. There will then be no reaction as the enzyme has denatured.

What happens to enzyme activity while increasing ph?
Reducing or increasing the pH away from the optimum pH beyond a certain point where it cannot be renatured reduced rate because the concentration of hydrogen ions interacting with R-groups interrupts the R-groups interacting with each other, which alters the enzymes tertiary structure, denaturing the enzyme.
What is the optimum temperature of intracellular and extracellular enzymes?
Intracellular= close to 7
Extracellular= optimum pH varies

What happens to enzyme activity when increasing substrate concentration?
When concentration increases so does the number of molecules, atoms or ions. This leads to a high collision rate with the active site of enzymes and more enzyme-substrate complex’s formed. The rate increases. Rate increases to its maximum, at this point all active sites are used up meaning no more e-s complex’s will form until products are released. Only way to increase rate is by adding more enzymes.

What happens to enzyme activity when increasing enzyme concentration?
As concentration increases, so does the number of available active sites, leading to e-s complex’s forming at a faster rate. The rate increases to its maximum. At this point the concentration of substrate become the limiting factor and increasing this will increase the rate.
