Pyramidal ( ^ )
Extends from the maxilla (near zygoma) to the nasal area (zygomatic still intact)

Craniofacial dissociation
Transverse fracture that seperates the mid face from the skull base
What are some common sites of fracture of the mandible?
Condylar process, angle, body and symphysis
What is a notable sign of anterior dislocation?
Hint: sign is something dentist can see/feel clinically?
the coronoid process if palpable extraorally
what are some of the symptoms of sinusitis?
nasal mucous, facial pain, fever, headaches
(pain may worsen when a patient bends over or lies down)
