What is a rectangular shape?
Elongated square . Forehead same width as cheekbones and jaw line
What is a square face?
Forehead same width as jaw line and cheekbones . Squares jaw as dominant feature
Round face?
Wide as it’s long - cheeks are widest point
Triangular face?
Wide forehead and tapers to narrow chin. High cheekbones
Oval shape?
Ideal. Forehead wider than chin - cheekbones are dominant and face tapers from chin to a narrow oval chin
How to correct a oval shape?
You don’t! None needed
How to correct a round face?
Shade to narrow sides of face
How to correct a rectangular face?
Shade to shorten length and highlight to widen
Correct inverted triangle?
Shade to reduce width and shorten point. Highlight to widen and balance
Correct a square face?
Shade to narrow forehead and jaw line. Highlight above blush and on chin for depth
Correct a triangular face?
Highlight to add width - shade on jaw
Correct a heart shape face?
Shade to shorten point - highlight to add width
Correct a diamond face?
Highlight to add width to narrow area and shorten by shading
