Selvage Edge
Edges of cloth, tape, or webbing that are woven to prevent raveling.
Bias
-diagonal line of a cut, fold, or seam across a piece of textile material at an angle of 45 degrees
Duck
Firm, coarse, plain-weave cotton fabric with weight per square yard from 6 to 50 ounces.

Overhand Knot
Simplest knot made.
Binders Knot
1) Simplest method of joining two cords or threads together.
2) Use at the end of a double cord when hand sewing to prevent the cord from pulling through the material as you sew.
