Predictive Windshear WARNING
• Prior to V1, reject takeoff
• After V1, perform Windshear Escape Manoeuvre: (Disengage A/P) Push TO/GA switch Agressively apply maximum thrust Disconnect autothrottles Roll wings level and Pitch 15 degrees Follow F/D
Reactive Windshear escape
as per the Windshear Escape Manoeuvre in QRH
GPWS CAUTION
Correct flight path or the airplane configuration
GPWS WARNING
Disengage AP Disconnect Autothrottle Aggressively apply max thrust Wings level Pitch 20 degrees Retract speedbrakes No change of gear + flaps configuration Monitor radio altimeter
Go-around after touchdown
If a go-around is initiated after touchdown:
• Disengage A/P and A/T while smoothly advancing the thrust levers to go-around thrust the config warning siren sounds due to the landing flap config).
• Verify speedbrakes retract; autobrakes disarm.
• Maintain landing flaps configuration; smoothly rotate
towards 15 deg go-around pitch attitude at no less than VREF.
• Once airborne, push either TO/GA switch. This will activate the F/D go -around mode; re-engage the A/T in THR mode.
• The F/D go around mode will not be available until go-around is selected after becoming airborne. This will occur when RA is 5 ft or above.
• When safely airborne with a positive rate of climb continue go-around and missed approach procedure.
WARNING: If reverse thrust is selected, a full stop landing must be made. If an engine remains in reverse, safe flight is not possible
Autothrottle wake-up feature be disabled
- When the pitch mode is in FLCH SPD or TO/GA
- During a descent in VNAV SPD with A/T in HOLD mode
- When the airplane barometric altitude is below 400ft AAL on takeoff or airplane altitude is below 100 ft RA on approach
- When thrust is at or above reference thrust limit
- The autothrottle will not support stall protection when the A/T mode is HOLD
