innervation: CN III, upper division
action: elevation, adduction, intorsion of eyeball

Inferior Rectus
origin: common tendinous ring
insertion: anterior hemisphere of eyeball: inferiorly
innervation: CN, III lower division
action: depression, adduction, extorsion of the eyeball

Medial Rectus
origin: common tendinous ring
insertion: anterior hemisphere of eyeball: medially
innervation: CN III, lower division
action: adduction of the eyeball

Lateral Rectus
origin: common tendinous ring
insertion: anterior hemisphere of eyeball: laterally
innervation: CN VI
action: abduction of the eyeball

Superior Oblique
origin: body of sphenoid
insertion: lateral posterior quadrant of eyeball
innervation: CN IV
action: depression, abduction, intorsion of eyebally

Inferior Oblique
origin: medial floor of orbit posterior to rim
insertion: laterl posterior quadrant of eyeball
