REVERSER (Amber Light)
ATIS
A - Auto restow circuit has been activated
T- Thrust Reverser Sleeve (one or more) is not in commanded position
I - Isolation Valve or Thrust Reverser Control Valve not in commanded position
S - Syntonization shaft lock circuitry failure
Power Transfer Unit (PTU)
Drives leading edge devices at normal rate
Activated when Hyd B pressure drops below limits
- Airborne
- Flaps not up (800)
- Flaps not up but less than 15 (700)
Landing Gear Transfer Unit (LGTU)
Purpose is to raise the landing gear at normal rate given Hyd A pump volume is lost
Conditions for activation are:
- Airborne
- No 1 engine N1 rpm drops below limit
- Landing gear handle up
- One main landing gear not up and locked
Windshear Escape Maneuver
1) A/P - Off
2) A/T - Off
3) Press TOGA Switch
4) Aggressively apply emergency thrust
5) Roll wings level and pitch to 15 degrees NU initially
6) Retract speed brakes (if extended)
7) Follow FD TOGA guidance if available
Do not change gear/flap configuration until out of wind shear and do not attempt to recover lost airspeed
