AAVIATE

A

A- AD’s - emergency vs normal - one time vs reoccuring - issued by FAA - must be complied with.
A- annual - every 12 calender months - can substitute a 100 hour if 100 hours not flown in past year - need a special flight permit if not have one done
V - VOR - technically only need IFR - VOR check in past 30 days
I - 100 hour - can exceed 100 hours by 10 hours if flying to mechanic - after that need special flight permit - only need if plane is used for compensation or hir - or flight instruction plane provided by instructor
A - altimeter/ pitot system inspection - 24 calender months - need to operate in controlled airspece uner ifr rules
T - transponder - 24 calender months - needs tested and inspected by mechanic
E - ELT - every 12 calenender months - check it the first 5 minues fo the hour on 121.5
E - ELT battery - half life of battery or 1 hour of consecutive use
