- CAD & computer-aided manufacture (CAM), e.g. many architect firms now specialise in computer generated views of the proposed exterior and interior of their projects This enables non-technical clients to experience and comment upon the project during the design stage
- Internet Banking: All major banks now offer this service although there is still some concern over its security.
- Websites such as Office 365 and Dropbox mean that businesses can securely store all content in the cloud. This means that files can be accessed from anywhere with internet access whilst
