is the rote recitation of a

Point - Start off by making a clear point about the subject you’re speaking about.
Reason - Describe your reason for that particular point.
Example - Give a few examples to illustrate.
Point - Finish with some concluding remarks to wrap up
your story.
PREP
A structured manner of responding to a behavioral-
based question by discussing the specific situation, task, action, and result of the situation you are describing.
STAR
Answer Reason Example Message
use this format to give an opinion, reinforce
a stance or share an idea. Begin with an
answer (Y/N; Agree/Disagree); I believe that
(reason)…. For example… Emphasize your stance with a (Message)!
AREM
Expressing your thesis statement then inserting your own story/narrative as an
example. Realting your narrative to the audience. Thus, drawing out a conclusion/realization/call for action at the end of your speech.
PROPOSITION-NARRATIVE
The thesis statement is followed by a series of
situations which demonstrates cause-effect
relationship (at least 3 situations). Then proceeding with a conclusion.
PROPOSITION-CAUSE-AND-EFFECT
Establish your stance/topic. Add up a discussion
about its purpose, importance and relevance to
the audience. Conclude by emphasizing your thesis statement.
PROPOSITION-DISCUSS-EMPHASIS
