Form and structure of the poem?
- half rhymes to show the uncomfortable conditions , it isn’t a nice rhyme
- first person point of view gives read access to the thoughts of somebody with first hand experience
- metre is jarring and un pretty with 12-14 syllables per line, again owen is showing the unnatural situation and the antithesis of being civlised
