A

Soldiers in the trenches of World War One are wide awake at night , afraid of an enemy attack
Nature is their main enemy
They imagine returning home but feel the doors are closed for them

What the form of exposure like?

A

Written in first person and uses collective pronouns such “our , “we “ to show the experiences were shared across all the soldiers in the war.
Each stanza has a regular ryhme scheme ABBAC, however the ryhme offers no comfort or satisfaction reflecting the soldiers experiences
