Captured Africans became a part of network called the triangle trade.
The first leg- ships carrying manufacture goods to Africa in exchange for slaves.
The second leg- the middle passage. the passage from Africa to America where the slaves were changed togethering and had to lay on the ground for six weeks. Many people died or threw up on themselves but they never unchanged them.

He was a freed slave who wrote about the conditions on the Middle passage. Helped end the slave trade in the British empire. His autobiography was very influential.

In Mexico Cortes defeated the Aztec people pretty much compleatly wiping them out.
