Explanations for conformity Flashcards
What is meant by informational social influence (ISI) ?
it refers to instances where people conform because they are uncertain about what to do in a particular situation, so they look to others for guidance
what does ISI tend to lead to ?
internalisation
what kind of process is ISI ?
a cognitive process
