dopamine is linked with pleasure seeking, and being driven to find a partner will give a person a hit of dopamine therefore one may be driven to find a relationship as they give a natural high

its a hormone linked with human bonding, trust and loyalty and high levels of it will form romantic attachments

reduced levels of oxytocin causing a longing to bond with ones partner again

through kin selection which is where traits that enhance survival of people with similar genes are selected in order to enhance survival of our groups genes, creating incentive to look after our siblings and spend time and energy in order to protect them and make sure there safe
