How work co-ordinated between consultants?
A
- BEP (Bim Execution Plan)
- agreed dates for exchange of pdf + revit files
- agreed level of modelling exchange
- agreed type of clash detection implemented
Note - there are different Levels of Design (LOD) that can be modelled to. When agreeing on the BEP it needs to be understood what LOD has been committed to in the fee. Ie: mechanical or services engineer may be required to model to LOD 350 and architecture only required to model to LOD 200 or LOD 300 depending on the model element. What happens if co-ordination is required that needs architecture to model at a higher LOD and it is not part of the initial fee?
