People living in deprived areas are less likely to exercise why?
Because they could be living potentially in a dangerous area which could make people not want to go outside and exercise as they do not feel safe in the area they live in which makes it harder for people to exercise long term or to exercise at all.
Why are women less likely to exercise?
Women are less likely to exercise because they are more likely to be the main caregiver in a family which could give them less time to exercise as they have to take care of children if they are young and they cannot go on long walks whilst with their young child as it would just be too far and long for the child. Women could also feel unsafe to exercise outside compared to men as they are/may be less comfortable exercising in the dark compared to men were they may not mind doing it after work when it’s dark.
