A
  • flexibility and common sense
  • plan around 5 elements, conduct pre-warrant investigation and write warrant plan
  • Team leader selected, normally case agent.
  • Info on violator and associates.
  • Conduct surveillance prior to , get facts and info: violator, neighborhood, location.
  • select team, specialists, how many agents, assignments.
  • notify locals= professional courtesy or for help.
  • What to search/seize, location of premise, time.
  • equipment- vests, flashlights, transportation,radios
  • I.D.- raid jackets, etc.
  • Use of force policy
  • conduct post warrant evaluation, lessons learned
