Q

How does the excretory system work?

A

The kidney filters the blood and extracts excess amounts of water and salt. These waste products then travel through the ureters into the bladder where it is stored until the bladder has held up to 300ml. This will trigger the urge to urinate and the urine will pass from the body through the urethra.
