Holopneustic
Hemipneustic (short bodied, spiracle number reduced)
Metapneustic/oligopneustic: single spiracle at tip of abdomen
Apneustic: no spiracles
What are Ostia?
Vertical slits in the heart where blood is drawn in under negative pressure
Is oxygen carried in the blood?
No it’s carried in the trachea
