Why is Labeling important? How can it be detrimental?

A

Students cannot receive sped services until they are labeled with a specific exceptionality. However, having a “label” could cause stigma and discrimination.

A

What is the meaning of “home school” in the SPED world

A

This includes the top three parts of LRE (General Ed, Pull Out, and Self-Contained). Students can still go where they are zoned to school (close to home) rather than being bussed to different schools.
