A

1) Support: Structural support, framework for attachment of soft tissues, & holds organs.
2) Movement: Allows movement at the joints
3) Protection: Protects vital organs. (Brain, heart, lungs, spinal cord, etc)
4) Mineral & Lipid (Fat) Storage: Stores calcium & phosphate & are released to maintain normal concentration of ions in body fluids.
5) Blood Cell Formation & Storage: Bloods cells are produced in red bone marrow.
