The conservatives in 2015 pledged to increase NHS spending by at least 8 billion pounds. They are in favour of universal state funded health care services.

Generally the conservative party is seen to be pro same sex marriage and pro right to choose when having a abortion. The Republicans on the other hand could be argued to be slightly more socially conservative, they are strong supporters of heterosexual marriage and many are pro-life supporters. Trump for example was supportive of the decision in Dobbs v Jackson.
