What is the standing special test?
If positive = abductor mechanism abnormal
Thomas test - lying special test
If positive = hip flexion deformity
What do you feel
palpate greater trochancter, leg lengths
Move - active first then passive
Flexion
Extension
Int/ Ext rotation
True leg length
Measure between 2 ASIS to medial malleolus
