Class: osmotic diuretic 
MOA: Increases urine volume by increasing tubular fluid osmolarity.
Effects: 
Indications: Cerebral edema
-Acute decrease of intraocular pressure
-Oliguria/anuria due to trauma or shock
-Acute kidney injury
CI: Pulmonary edema/heart failure, progressive renal disease, metabolic edema.
*No oral/IV
