What does span of control mean?
Is a concept that relates to the number of groups, individuals or tasks that can be successfully supervised by one person.
U are the incident controller of a serious crime. When do u hand over control? When the first forensic member arrive, or ciu, or retain control?
The first FSD employee attending becomes the scene controller.

Members must investigate with or without consent of the AFM. Statements of no complaint are not grounds for ceasing an investigation.
A s/c receives a complaint of assault after arresting a crook. Who must be notified?
He must inform work unit manager. He must also notify staff officer, legal services department

Public records.

Do not transport in a brawler van as it doesn’t allow for constant observation of the person.
