5 Types of Parables
- Exaggeration
a) Overstatement (What is said is exaggerated, but possible)
b) Hyperbole (exaggerated, but impossible)
2) Simile (real life item being used to describe the unknown)
3) Proverb (truth statements in everyday terms)
4) Paradox (a statement that appears to be untrue at first, but actually is true)
5) Use of Questions (makes you think more than an immediate answer; can be used confrontationally)

- Grace Parables (between 5000 and Triumphal entry)
- Judgment Parables (between Triumphal Entry and Crucifixion)
