Smooth pathogenic bacteria and rough nonpathogenic bacteria in mice. When he injected the mice with heat killed pathogenic bacteria and live nonpathogenic bacteria in mice and noticed some form of transformation in the bacteria as the mice died

A
expose cells to radioactive DNA and then treat them with DNase . Measures all DNA not just what was taken up.
