This was a projection of status due to a lot of fabric and it being expensive to produce. Inclduing loops of ribbon placed at the lower edge of the out seam near the hem and the waist for decoration. has a crotch seam.

New neck wear. Looks like a modern neck tie, and is precursor to the modern collar. It is a long linen band, and at the end has 12 inches of lace at either end, in one image. They would flip shirt collar up and wound it around a couple times around the neck. The type of knot it was tied in depended on the occasion, where in the world, what year.

This item is made out of yards of fabric. very narrow pieces that retain a lot of the original shape. There is a lot of fabric that is still untouched, fabric is being reused and is being hand woven. Was draped instead of being cut. Coat like construction With sleeves cut front and back together. Pleated in the shoulders and fell to the waist. and it was held in place by a sash.

Connecs with tabs and is temporarily stitched, you are being stitched in or pinned in with straight pins with the tabs. There are so many layers that you would not be poked. Continuous rigidity, cannot bend.

a wig, Closely dressed to the head, often curls that are concentrated over the tops of the ears. Quite often the hair is brought back into the back in a pony tail, made out of either horse hair or human hair. primarily white or silver in color. Powdered with double aut flour which is finely milled. Wanted to have gray hair to make them seem wiser, Mortatlity rates are higher. Fewer are able to get to old age.

The waist lines have dropped in this time period and slimmed down. Low point at the front of the item, deep below the waist line. Controlled artificial shape. Constricted conical shape in the torso. Bottom half is similar to skirts over petticoats, most likely skirts were not attached to the bodice. There is a slit in the center front allowing a glimpse of silver petticoat, might be wearing a bum roll still. Object has boning made out of whale bone in the torso to make it rigid. Very wide neckline going past shoulder tips almost. Hard to raise arms over the shoulder. Elite upper class women wearing these. She can’t do work and this is a symbol of status. Chemise being worn underneath, which is made out of linen. The object on top is silk. This garment is not being washed. Stays in between the chemise and item. sleeves being low in the bodice and are deeply set in the back. Laces on the back.
