Physical:
(Most commonly known form of abuse, often against women 18-34 years old, may not be a part of abusive relations but doesn’t mean relationship is not abusive)
Sexual:
(Physically forcing sex, making victim feel fearful of saying no to sex, forcing sex with other partners, forcing the victim to participate in demeaning / degrading sexual acts, refusing contraception
Psychological:
(Constant put downs or criticism, crazy making, acting superior, name calling)

(99% of domestic violence cases, more likely to intensify when victim tries to leave the relationship / abuser feels they may leave, giving victim allowance, running up debt, hiding family assets, not letting victim have their own money)
