1. Depolarizing NMBA. Short acting.
2. Given IV and IM.
3. Used to facilitate tracheal intubation, and provide skeletal muscle relaxtion during surgery or mechanical ventilation.
4. Contraindicated in pts with Hx of malignant hyperthermia, skeletal muscle myopathies, and hypersensitivity.

1. Nondepolarizing NMBA. Intermediate acting.
2. Given IV,
3. Used to facilitate tracheal intubation and provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. One of most commonly used NMBAs.
4. Long-term use has resulted in prolonged paralysis and difficulty weaning from mechanical ventilation.
