Accepting responsibility, filling out an incident report, and not ignoring other nurses’ mistakes. If med error occurs with a patient assess the patient first then calling the provider

is a non-punitive way to find out ways to prevent the mistakes and figuring out what went wrong. And finding out ways to prevent the mistake or issue from happening again
