What does leadership and management mean?
The guidance states how senior leadership team is essential to promote the mental health and well being, that will effectively demonstrate how leadership can overcome the barriers that mental health and well-being issues can have on children’s learning advocating for the needs of children and learners
Ethos and environment
Creating an environment that promotes respect, values diversity and supports the emotional and mental health and well-being of pupils
Curriculum, teaching and learning
A curriculum that promotes resilience, socio and emotional learning eg resilience, self confidence Teach about mental health
Student voice
Enabling that every student voice is being heard, valued and influences the decisions.
Identifying a need and monitoring the impact of interventions
Identifying emerging mental health issues, and planning appropriate responses to meet their mental health needs
Working with parents or carers?
Working in partnership with parents to share aims and strategies to support child’s mental health needs.
Targeted support
Ensuring that children can get timely and get appropriate support eg specialist , higher support, working with external specialist

This act relates to how health and safety is managed in the setting eg reporting hazards, safety equipment, how you keep yourself and others safe.
Sexual violence and Sexual harassment between children in schools and colleges 2018
A guidance for schools and colleges , and it’s advice for head teachers and safeguarding leads, it reinforces the need for all organisations to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, and ensure that they do all they can to promote healthy and respectful relationships. It sets what the staff should do in case of sexual bullying, sexting, sexual violence or harassment between children or young people.
