We believe that it is the privilege of all believers to be wholly sanctified, and that their whole spirit and soul and body may be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

- Discipline for holy conduct
- Dedication to a holy nature (conduct)
- Demonstrate a holy influence

Holy, Eternal, Love, Personal, Spirit

OT = Creation, Presence - cloud and fire in wilderness, Unction – of judges, prophets, kings NT = Dove, Pentecost wind and fire

Follow Christ; be like Jesus; covenant (father/child)
-Examples of covenant in OT
- Adamic – don’t eat from tree
- Abrahamic – be blameless. God initiates, human obeys
- Mosaic – recognizes holiness, reverence, Listen, understands and obeys.
- Sinai – community covenant, from slavery to freedom, 10 commands, Shema, tabernacle, holy priesthood.
- Davidic – individual covenant, promised family, response of praise.
- Prophets – new covenant, written on heart and minds (will), God dwells with them

-NT Holy life =
Temptation always part of the human condition;
Sin is not inevitable, but sanctification does not eliminate possibility of sin;
Christlikeness; complete consecration (Christ lives in me)

How to Obtain Holiness?
- Realize your need
- Confess you need
- Believe blessing is for you
- Believe blessing is for you now!
- Come to Jesus with true heart; no holding back
How to Maintain Holiness?
- Remember you are a co-worker with God
- Keep everything on the alter
- Obey God first; without reservation
- Do not trust feelings
- Join with believers.
