What’s the difference between incidence and prevalence
A
Incidence refers to the rate of new cases in the population over a given period of time
Prevalence refers to the proportion of cases (both new and prior) occurring at any given time

A
Four aspects:
- how many people are affected
- who is getting it
- where are the affected people
- when is the disease most common (and does it change over time)?

A
How many people are affected. It’s an aspect of “Distribution”
