screening-identifying kids who are at risk/ teachers do lots of check ins/ typically no formal write up
Evaluation-typically involves a standardized assessment/ formal write up/ longer in duration
What makes up an evaluation?
-Occupational profile (usually from caregiver)
-Clinical observations (ex. play or structured tasks)
-standardized assessments
-review results
Standardized Assessments
Criterion Reference: compares results against a specific point or criterion. Others results do not have an impact
Norm Reference: performance is compared against performance of other same aged peers.
