Buddha saw evil as the result of human nature which is naturally inclined towards greed.

How do Buddhists overcome “evil”?
A
Buddhists believe that to overcome evil, you have to practise the eightfold path, which involves self discipline. They also believe in “karma”, which is where good or bad actions in your current life will generate what your life will be like next time.
