Clinical evidence (Clive Wearing, HM). Supports idea that there are diff stores within LTM as one store can be damaged but the others unaffected+ diff locations

• Case study lacks generalisability+ population validity
• Other researchers argued it’s hard to distinguish between E and S memory=> E memories (experiences)= needed to form S memories (knowlegde). So: only 2 types of LTM.
