What’s the difference between:
Lethargy?
Obtunded?
Stuporous?
Lethargy: easy to arouse with slow speech and movement
Obtunded: difficult to arouse. Confused
Stuporous: minimal response to painful stimuli
What’s the most commonly injured nerve in mild TBI
The olfactory nerve
Occurs at a higher rate in moderate and severe TBI
Clinical signs of UMN lesion ( other than weakness)
Hyper reflexive
Hypertonia

Inability to identify numbers or letters traced in our hand
What is stereognosis?
Inability to identify objects placed in the hand
What is extinction
Inability to recognize a stimulus when performed concurrently with a second stimulus
Ability to recognize the same stimulus when performed in isolation
